Sunday School

“Y’all still do Sunday School?”

My colleague was amazed to even hear it. For so many, Sunday School has become a thing of the past—replaced with so many other types of gatherings. But for the young and old alike, we are still committed to the intentional formation of hearts and minds through purposeful study of Scripture.

We agree with Bible teacher, Jen Wilkin that “the heart cannot love what the mind does not know.” Sunday school provides formal, structured opportunities to learn the Word so that we can live the Word.  Classes for all age groups meet Sundays at 9:45 am.

"And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise" (Deuteronomy 6:6-7).
