“Honor your father and your mother…”

“…so that you may have a long life in the land that the LORD your God is giving you” (Exodus 20:12). The fifth of Ten Commandments instructs Christ followers to give honor to those who have served as mother or father figures. There are countless ways to follow this commandment and ahead of Mother’s (May 12) and Father’s Day (June 16), we’d like to offer one more.

Using the form below, submit information for any mother and/or father figure you would like to honor in words. Beyond the deadlines below, there are no rules.

Honor any mother and/or father figure you’d like, even if they were not parents by birth or related to you at all.
Honor those who are living or deceased.
Honor just one, or more than one person.

The absolute deadline to submit for a mother figure will be May 5, 2024. The absolute deadline to submit for a father figure will be June 9, 2024.
